Nova, Volume 5 is an ongoing American comic book series of the superhero fantasy genre. It was published by Marvel Comics under their "Marvel Now!" imprint and began publication in 2013. The series features 15-year-old Sam Alexander as the costumed superhero Nova and includes guest appearances by the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The first creative team on the series consisted of writer Jeph Loeb, artist Ed McGuinness, inker Dexter Vines, colorist Marte Gracia and letterer Albert Deschesne.

Notes & Trivia
- Sam Alexander first appeared in the Point One one-shot comic book issue in a story called "Harbinger". He also appeared in issues #1 and #12 of Avengers vs. X-Men.
- Issue #1 shipped with four variant covers as well as a black and white sketch variant cover (based on the Joe Quesada cover) and a London Super Comic Convention Forbidden Planet variant cover. One variant is a blank white cover with just the logo. The first variant cover, featuring Nova flying over the Earth, is illustrated by Marcos Martin. The Marvel Baby variant cover is illustrated by Skottie Young.
