"From the Dregs of Defeat!" is the twenty-third issue of the first Nova ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics, which is also identified under its full title The Man Called Nova. It was written by Marv Wolfman with artwork by Carmine Infantino and Gene Colan. It was inked by Klaus Janson, Terry Austin, Tom Palmer, Bob Wiacek, Walter Simonson & Joe Rubinstein with coloring by Janice Cohen and lettering by Jim Novak. The story was edited by Marv Wolfman. This issue shipped with a January, 1979 cover date and carries a cover price of .35 cents per copy.
