It was written by Marc Andreyko with artwork and inks by Piotr Kowalski. It was colored by Juan Manuel Tumburús and lettered by Ed Dukeshire. The story was edited by Ian Brill with Alex Galer as assistant editor. This issue shipped to retailers in May, 2014 and carries a cover price of $3.99 per copy (US).

- This issue is alternatively known by its full title, Clive Barker's Nightbreed #1.
- The Night Breed were created by British author, screenwriter and director Clive Barker. They were the central protagonists featured in Barker's 1988 novella, Cabal. They were brought to visual life in the 1990 screen adaptation, Nightbreed, and have also appeared in the Night Breed comic book series by Marvel Comics & Epic, as well as the Nightbreed series published by Boom! Studios in 2014.
