Biography[]
Nick Trask was a mob boss working out of Los Angeles, California. One of his underlings, a man named Lou Monkton, turned against him and began working with the Los Angeles County Prosecutor's Office to turn state's evidence. Lawyer Jennifer Walters was hired to defend Monkton, so Trask sent some of his goons to take her out. Although Walters suffered a near-fatal gunshot wound to the back, she was saved by her cousin, Bruce Banner, who gave her an emergency blood transfusion of his own blood. Banner's blood produced a metabolic change in Walters' physiology, transforming her into the She-Hulk.
