Nichol's Hardware Store is a fictional business featured in the Halloween film series. It first appeared in the original 1978 movie Halloween by director John Carpenter.
Description[]
Nichol's Hardware Store was a privately owned hardware retail outlet and sundries store located in Haddonfield, Illinois. It was owned by a man named Mister Nichol.
History[]
On October 30th, 1978, the Shape broke into Nichol's Hardware store and stole some Halloween masks, some rope and a knife. Sheriff Leigh Brackett investigted the scene the following day, but turned up nothing. Following the Halloween night murders, Mister Nichols gathered all of his remaining "Shape" masks and threw them in the dumpster. They were stolen minutes later.
