"Superman at the World's Fair" is the first of eight stories featured in the second and final New York World's Fair Comics comic book special, which was published by Detective Comics, Inc., later known as DC Comics. The story was written by Jerry Siegel with artwork by Jack Burnley (credited as Joe Shuster). Other features in this issue include Red, White, & Blue, Slam Bradley, Zatara, Hourman, the Sandman, Johnny Thunderbolt and Batman & Robin. The cover art illustration for this issue was rendered by Jack Burnley and all stories were edited by Whitney Ellsworth. This issue shipped in July, 1940 and carries a cover price of .15 cents per copy.
