New Troy is a fictional city borough featured in comic book titles published by DC Comics. It is a primary setting in the Superman family of comic book titles and was established in the Post-Crisis DC Universe that existed from 1986-2011 as well as the "New 52" continuity of DC Comics titles.
New Troy is one of the six boroughs of Metropolis, located in the heart of the city. It represents the hub of Metropolis' central business district.

- 1938 Sullivan Place
- 1938 Sullivan Place is the residence of Clark Kent and Lois Lane. It is located in the uptown section of New Troy in Metropolis. From the window of their apartment, Clark and Lois have a good view of the Metropolis skyline, as well as the city's two most recognizable landmarks, the Daily Planet building and the Lexcorp Tower.
- Daily Planet
- The Daily Planet is a major national newspaper publisher whose corporate office is in the city of Metropolis. It has seen numerous owners over the years including Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne. In Pre-Crisis continuity, the Daily Planet was purchased by Galaxy Communications and represented the print media arm of their corporate holdings. The managing editor of the Daily Planet is Perry White. Notable reporters for the paper include investigative journalists Lois Lane and Clark Kent, sports columnist Steve Lombard and gossip columnist Cat Grant. Its most famous photographer is Jimmy Olsen. The Daily Planet gained global recognition for being the first paper to write a story on the superhero known as Superman.
- Hammersmith Tower
- Hammersmith Tower was a high-rise apartment complex located in the neighborhood of New Troy in the city of Metropolis. it was distinguishable by its large clock-face on the upper tower and was located within viewing distance of the Daily Planet. Lana Lang lived in one of the apartments here. Kara Zor-El took up residence here as Lana's roommate for a brief time.
- Metropolis Post Office
- The Metropolis Post Office is a government service with multiple branch offices located in the city of Metropolis. In the wake of the death of Superman, the Post Office was flooded with letters addressed to him. Letters included sentiments ranging from gratitude to outrageousness. An assemblage of Superman's closest super-hero allies took it upon themselves to sift through the mail. As they started reading some of the letters, Guy Gardner discovered one from a sickly woman, begging to be reunited with her son before she passes. Doctor Light convinced Guy to do so, although he was very reluctant to do so. Wonder Woman discovered a letter written by a woman named Claire Anderson, thanking Superman for saving their lives after Doomsday destroyed their house. [1]
