The New England Society for Psychic Research was an occult research group specializing in investigating claims of supernatural activity and hauntings. They were founded by Ed and Lorraine Warren in 1952, and still exist today. They have claimed to have investigated more than 10,000 cases of the supernatural during the Warrens' tenure with the group.
