Overview[]
Nekra is a mutant born with albino white skin and vampiric features. She has the ability to enhance her physical strength and durability by way of emotional empowerment. She was introduced as a foe of Shanna, the She-Devil, but has also fought up against Daredevil, Spider-Woman and the Vision & Scarlet Witch.
Biography[]
Powers[]
- Superhuman strength: Nekra possesses the ability to bolster her physical strength to superhuman levels. This is perpetuated through increased emotional intensity, which provides an adrenal surge that activates her power. The most passionate emotion, hate, triggers Nekra's power and she can lift up to a maximum of ten tons.
- Superhuman durability: Nekra's mutant gift for superhuman strength also provides her with an extremely high degree of durability. She can withstand impact from low-yield weaponry such as bladed weapons with no ill effect. Even at fourteen-years-old, Nekra shook off the effects of a stab wound to the abdomen. This was the first time that her mutant powers manifested. [2]
- Superhuman stamina: As her powers depend upon her negative emotions, Nekra is capable of exerting herself at peak efficiency for up to 1 hour before she's no longer able to sustain her emotional intensity.
