Necromancy is an ability that involves communication and/or manipulation of the spiritual matter of the deceased. Those who are adept at this ability are referred to as Necromancers. Necromancy is usually regarded as a mystical ability, and can be learned through a variety of methods. Minor examples of necromancers may include fortune tellers, who are mystically attuned to the spirit world and can summon the spirit of someone who has died. Darker magic may include more vulgar characteristics of the power, such as the ability to reanimate dead flesh, such as in the case of the creation of a zombie.
