A necromancer is one who has an innate and instinctive pyschic connection to the dead. They can summon and commune with spirits, and depending upon their power level, may even be able to manipulate and control the souls of the deceased. This includes pulling them out of the afterworld, or even banishing them back to the afterworld. The art of the necromancer is referred to as necromancy and is commonly associated with psychics, mediums, sorcerers, wizards, witches, and other types of mystics. Necromancy is often considered dark magic.
