Nebula is a fictional mercenary featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is a blue-skinned member of the Luphomoid race, but may easily be mistaken for a Kree. She is presented as the granddaughter of the Mad Titan Thanos, and in some cases, even his daughter. She first appeared in Avengers #257 in July, 1985. Nebula has also made appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where she was played by actress Karen Gillan. She was introduced in the 2014 feature film Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as its sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and the 2018 movie Avengers: Infinity War.
