Natalya Maximoff is a fictional witch and a minor supporting character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. She first appeared in Scarlet Witch, Volume 2 #3 in February, 2016.

Biography

Natalya Maximoff was a sorceress of Romany descent. She was the mother of the twins, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. When the twins were still infants, the High Evolutionary abducted them and brought them to Wundagore Mountain where they were experimented upon. It was believed that Natalya Maximoff died during this time. Wanda and Pietro were ultimately raised by Natalya's brother, Django Maximoff and his wife Marya. It would be years before the twins would discover that their mother was still alive.
