Naomi Janzen is a television screenwriter. Her first credited work in speculative fiction is writing the "Max" episode of the 1980s sci-fi series War of the Worlds. She wrote two episodes of VR.5 in 1995 and 1997. She wrote "Control Freak" and "Send Me an Angel". In 2001, she co-wrote the "Mindreacher" episode of the 1995 relaunch of The Outer Limits.
Between 2002 and 2005, Naomi Janzen was a writer and consultant on the US/Canadian sci-fi series Andromeda. She wrote and/or co-wrote six episodes of the show.
