N'Grath was a minor character featured in the American science fiction television series Babylon 5, which aired from 1994 to 1998. The character was an alien being who was represented a large, bipedal insect with giant green compound eyes. The actor wearing the insect costume and the voice actor who played N'Grath are both unknown. The character first appeared in the second episode of season one, "Soul Hunter".
Biography[]
N'Grath was an insectoid alien of an unnamed species who lived in the Down Below section of the Babylon 5 space station. He was shifty and untrustworthy and was more than willing to engage the various denizens of the dark corridors in any number of illicit activities. Whenever N'Grath found himself being questioned however, he always proferred forth the notion that he was nothing more than a "legitimate businessman".
In 2258, N'Grath met an alien being known as a Soul hunter who wanted information about the layout of the station. N'Grath, having a keen mind on such matters, sold him the information he required, which included the means to navigate throughout the station undetected as well as a Level 5 security pass.
