A man buys an hourglass that makes time flow backwards when he tips it upside down, but when he tries to destroy it, he becomes trapped inside.

A scientist behind the iron curtain creates an air purifier to counteract the poison of his first invention.

When a sailor becomes lost at sea, he is saved by the ghost of his great grandfather, who was the captain of his own vessel.

Notes & Trivia[]

  • This is the final issues of the series. In 1957, Marvel publisher Martin Goodman shut down the Atlas distribution line in favor of the more economically feasible American News Distribution company. As such, all of the Atlas titles produced by Marvel at this time were discontinued.
  • Cover coloring credit confirmed by Stan Goldberg.
  • Gene Fawcette's inking credit on "The Thirteenth Floor" is unconfirmed.
  • "Travelling Tom" was originally printed in Strange Tales of the Unusual #1, published in December, 1955 (Not to be confused with the Strange Tales anthology series).
  • "The Strange Sea!" is reprinted in Crypt of Horror #34 by AC Comics in 2017.
