Biography[]
Myra Korvac lived on Earth's moon in the late 30th century. She was the wife of Jordan Korvac and the mother of his child. When Jordan Korvac was infused with a the Power Cosmic bestowed upon him by his own descendant, he went mad and ultimately got into a battle with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Myra gave birth to her son, Michael Korvac. When Michael was born, the infant absorbed all of the cosmic power out of Jordan, reducing him to a withered husk. The Guardians argued about whether to destroy the child, but they managed to bring it to Galactus, who removed the stolen power from it. The baby was returned to its mother, but Myra nursed a deep-seated hatred of the Guardians for the death of her husband - a hatred that would ultimately poison the mind of her child.
