Overview[]

Toad is a mutant gifted with the ability of superhuman agility, reflexes and enhanced leg strength, allowing him to leap great distances like a frog. This is not the only trait that Toad derives from his namesake. Like a toadie, the Toad is a sycophant and will generally follow any leader he aligns with to an obsessive and loyal decree. Over time however, the Toad grew more independent and even engaged in his own personal endeavors. The Toad is one of the founding members of original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and was also the leader of the third iteration of the group, who once fought up against X-Force. Following an altercation with the cosmic being known as the Stranger, the Toad evolved and took on altered physical characteristics including a green pallor, scaly skin and a long, prehensile tongue.
