Morgana was a powerful witch and the daughter of 6th century sorceress Morgana Le Fey. Unlike her mother however, Morgana was not evil. Supergirl summoned Morgana and brought her into the modern era, where she baited her into combating a mystical rival of hers, a cult leader named Zond. With Supergirl's help, Morgana succeeded in exposing Zond's schemes and banished him. (Adventure Comics 397)
