The Mooncopter, also spelled moon-copter, is a fictional flying aircraft featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is associated with the Moon Knight family of comic book titles. It first appeared in Werewolf by Night #32 in August, 1975.
Description[]
The Mooncopter, also known as "Moon Knight's Helicopter", is a specially designed helicopter utilized by the costumed adventurer known as Moon Knight.
Capabilities[]
- The Mooncopter has a maximum altitude ceiling of 19,000 feet and can fly at speeds up to 195 miles per hour. It has a maximum flight duration of 500 miles before it needs to be refueled.
- One of the most notable aspects of the Mooncopter is its silent-running stealth mode. It had the ability to hover in a single place without making a sound. This is accomplished through the use of a white noise generator that masks the sound of the rotor blades.
