"The Macabre Moon Knight!" is the first issue of the first Moon Knight ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. The story was written by Doug Moench with artwork and inks by Bill Sienkiewicz and inking assists by Franki Sienkiewicz. It was colored by Bob Sharen and lettered by Tom Orzechowski. The story was edited by Denny O'Neil. This issue shipped with a November, 1980 cover date and carries a cover price of .50 cents per copy.

- The character of Moon Knight was created by writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin. He first appeared in Werewolf by Night #32 in August 1975 in a story titled "The Stalker Called Moon Knight!".
- This issue is approved by the Comics Code Authority.
