Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is an animated comedy adventure series that dips its toe into the superhero fantasy genre. It was produced by Disney Television Animation, Marvel Animation, Cinema Gypsy Productions, Activision Blizzard Studios, and Man of Action Entertainment. It was developed for television by Steve Loter, Jeffrey M. Howard, and Kate Kondell. It is based on the Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur line of titles published by Marvel Comics. It began airing on the Disney Channel on February 10th, 2023, and was then released on the Disney+ streaming service five days later. The show revolves around the character of Lunella Lafayette - a thirteen-year-old super-genius from the Lower East Side of Manhattan, who activates a dimensional portal that brings a giant red friendly "Devil Dinosaur" into this world, who becomes her pet. Lunella manages to hide the dinosaur of "DD" inside her own secret lair beneath her apartment (which her parents and grandparents know nothing about), and the only other person who is aware of Lunella's secret is best friend and wananbe social influencer Casey Calderon. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur stars the voice talents of Diamond White as Lunella Lafayette, Libe Barer as Casey Calderon, Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur, Alfre Woodard as Mimi, Sasheer Zamata as Adria Lafayette, Jermaine Fowler as James Lafayette, and Gary Anthony Williams as Pops.
