Plot[]
Suzy St. Claire is a professional tap dancer with unfulfilled dreams of super-stardom as a Hollywood actress. Her partner and lover is Gary Gregory, who grows insanely obsessive when he learns that Suzy is planning on leaving him and the company. The only thing Gary wants is for the two of them to continue dancing together forever - as one.
Feeling trapped in this endless cycle of dissatisfaction, Suzy feels that their is only one way to escape this humdrum existence; she has to kill Gary. She invites Gary over to her home and poisons his drink. Gary falls over dead and Suzy has to use an electric meat carver to dismember his remains so she can hide them.
A year later, Suzy's new career seems to be in full swing. Her agent Sam books her a place to stay while she is working in New York. Coincidentally, her new place just happens to be her old apartment. Suzy begins hearing this intense tapping noise. She comes to realize that it is Gary's severed leg, which is still wearing his old tap dance shoe. Gary's dismembered limb haunts and torments Suzy, attacking her and tripping her up. Eventually the leg succeeds in cutting off Suzy's own leg and attaching itself to her stump. Just as Gary dreamed, they can now dance together forever - as one.
