- Dracula was created by Irish author Bram Stoker. He is the titular antagonist of Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, which was inspired by an actual Wallachian nobleman known as Vlad II, aka Vlad the Impaler.
- Frankenstein, and all related characters, are based on concepts developed by English author Mary Shelley's as presented in her 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, the Modern Prometheus. The Frankenstein story has since been adapted and expanded upon in numerous films, novels, comic books and television projects.
- The Wolf Man was created by director George Waggner and writer Curt Siodmak. He was the central antagonist featured in the 1941 film The Wolf Man by Universal Pictures. Unlike other famous Universal Monsters horror characters, the Wolf Man was an original concept and was not based on any preexisting literary sources.
- Monster Squad: The Complete Series was released on home video in Region 1 DVD format on June 23rd, 2009. It was produced by Virgil Films and Entertainment.
- A jigsaw puzzle relating to this episode was produced by HG Toys. The image included Dracula, Frank N. Stein, Bruce W. Wolf and Ultra Witch.
