Mister Devereaux, first name unknown, lived at 3664 Mountain View Avenue in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, California in the early 1980s. He was married to Annette Devereaux and had a daughter named Trish. In May, 1981, Mister and Mrs. Devereaux left home for the weekend, leaving 18-year-old daughter Trish to take care of the house. The Devereauxs arranged for neighbor David Contant to check in on their daughter from time to time.
