The Minutemen are a fictional team who plays an important role in the Watchmen multimedia franchise. They first appeared in flashback in Watchmen #2 in October, 1986. They also appeared in flashback scenes in the live-action Watchmen movie in 2009 as well as the fictional tell-all autobiography Under the Hood, excerpts of which are shown in various issues of the Watchmen comic book maxi-series by DC Comics.

- Years of active service: 1939-1950.
- The Minutemen were succeeded by the Crimebusters in the 1960s, who disbanded in 1977.
- Edward Blake is the only character who was a member of both the Minutemen and the Crimebusters.
- Sally Juspeczyk was the last surviving member of the Minutemen. She passed away from natural causes in the 1990s.
- In the Watchmen television series on HBO, Hooded Justice was revealed to be a black man named William Reeves. In the comics, his true identity was never revealed and he was murdered by Hollis Mason back in 1955.
