Doctor Miles J. Bennell is the main character featured in the 1956 sci-fi film Invasion of the Body Snatchers. He is played by actor Kevin McCarthy. In the 1978 remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the character is re-named Matthew Bennell and is played by actor Donald Sutherland. A female counterpart to the character, Carol Bennell, was featured in the 2007 film The Invasion.
