Biography[]
Origin[]
Michael Payson Maxwell worked as a ranger in Tanzania in Africa. His old college friend Rupert Kenboya of the Zambesi tribe were caught in a violent storm, which sent their airplane crash-landing on Mount Kilimanjaro. Rubert fed Maxwell special medicinal water that gave him an enhanced physique along with additional strength and stamina. A gorilla named Djuba gave Maxwell a special helmet that allowed him to communicate with animals. Mike became a hero of the Zambesi Game Preserve calling himself B'wana Beast. [2]
Adventures[]
B'wana Beast summoned several jungle animals to assist the Zambesi tribe in moving a caravan of copper ore from their mines to the coast. [2]
B'wana Beast fought up against a man named Hamid Ali who attacked him with a giant robot crocodile. Rupert Kenboya and his men assisted B'wana Beast in their helicopter by helping to drive Hamid Ali back. [2]
B'wana Beast continued to combat Hamid Ali from stealing the copper mineral ore from the Zambesi tribe, and received help from Rupert Kenboya as well as the Zambesi warriors. During this affair, a beautiful reporter named Eve Carstairs began looking into the actions of B'wana Beast, nearly uncovering his secret identity. [3]
B'wana Beast was present during a cosmic event that threatened the entire multiverse known as the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" event, though his actions during this time were minimal. [4]
