"The Boyfriend" is the title the first story featured in issue #1 of the Midnight Tales comic book series published by Charlton Comics. It was written by Nicola Cuti with artwork, inks & lettering by Wayne Howard. The second story is "Weave Me a Web", also by Cuti, Howard & Fiore. The third tale is called "The Doll", written by Nicola Cuti, with artwork & inks by Jack Abel. The fourth and final feature is "Last of Its Kind" by Nicola Cuti and Joe Staton. This issue shipped with a December, 1972 cover date and carries a cover price of .20 cents per copy.
