Overview[]
Heat Wave is a pyromaniac who wears an asbestos suit and uses an extended flame-thrower weapon to commit crimes. He was originally a rival of another costumed villain, Captain Cold, but the two entered into an uneasy partnership with one another to take on Central City's guardian protector, the Flash. Since then, Heat Wave became a member of the Rogues Gallery and fought up against the Flash numerous times. He eventually reformed himself and became a security guard at Iron Heights prison.
