Biography[]
Michael Curry was a 48-year-old construction business owner from San Francisco, California. Michael almost died in a drowning incident, but was rescued by Rowan Mayfair. This near-death experience prompted a latent extrasensory ability in Michael and he now possessed the power of psychometry. By touching a solid object with his hands, he could get visual impressions from it, picking up small details of its recent history, such as it who it belonged to, how they used it, and how they felt when they used it. Unfortunately for Michael, he was unable to turn off this power, and was forced to wear gloves all of the time. This led to a bout of depression, which evolved into severe alcoholism. Drinking beer was the only he could find to deaden his senses.
Michael Curry eventually reconnected with Rowan and the two fell in love. They married on Christmas Day and Michael relocated to Rowan's family estate in New Orleans, Louisiana. Michael was the biological father of Rowan's child, which manifested as the corporeal form of an ancient entity known as Lasher. [1]
