Metroville is a fictional city featured in the Incredibles multimedia franchise. It first appeared in the 2004 computer animated feature film The Incredibles and serves as the primary setting for the franchise.
Metroville is a metropolitan city in an unrevealed state in the United States of America. It is a coastal state, indicating that it is located on the East Coast, bordering the Atlantic Ocean or the West Coast, bordering the Pacific Ocean.
Metroville has a long and storied history with its superhero community dating back to the early 1950s with the rise of some of the its most celebrated heroes (many of whom met gruesome unexpected deaths in the ensuing decades). Metroville's most prominent members of the superhero community are the members of the Parr family, or as they are known publicly, the Incredibles. This includes Mister Incredible (Bob Parr), Elasti-Girl (Helen Parr), Dash & Violet as well as their good family friend Lucius Best, aka Frozone and fashionista diva Edna Mode.
