The Metropolis Police Department is a fictional police department featured in comic books published by DC Comics. It relates to the Superman family of comic titles and can usually be found in most forms of related media including films, television programs, serials, video games, etc.
The Metropolis Police Department is the official law-enforcement agency governing the city of Metropolis. It includes all of the traditional inter-departmental divisions such as Homicide, Vice Squad, CSI etc, as well a tactical unit unique to this agency known as the Metropolis Special Crimes Unit.
