Merritt Wever is an American film and television actress. She was born in Manhattan, New York City, New York on August 11th, 1980. Her first work in the science fiction genre was playing a pharmacist in the 2002 film Signs. In 2015, she began playing the recurring role of Denise Cloyd on AMC's The Walking Dead. She first appeared in the second episode of season six titled, "JSS". She made nine appearances in the series in total.
