Buzz, also known as Mercedes driver, is a fictional character featured in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre film series. Played by actor Barry Kinyon, he appeared in the 1986 film, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2.
Buzz was a douche bag yuppie teenager who was friends with a guy named Rick. Having consumed great quantities of alcohol, they went cruising down a Texas highway while Rick hung his head out the window, shooting up road signs. On their way to a football game, Buzz used his car phone to call a local radio station, KOKLA. The DJ, Vanita "Stretch" Brock listened to the boys' rude comments, but could not get them to hang up the phone.
While still on the phone with Stretch, Buzz and Rick had a grisly encounter with a passing truck. The truck paced them on the highway and pulled alongside them. On the flatbed of the vehicle stood Leatherface, with the corpse of his brother, Nubbins, propped up before him like a costume. Leatherface brandished his trusty chainsaw and cut Buzz's head in half, forcing the car off an overpass and into a ditch. Rick was killed in the crash.
