Mer-Man is a fictional amphibious monster man and a recurring antagonist featured in the Masters of the Universe multimedia franchise. He was introduced as an action figure in the original Mattel toyline from 1981. He also appeared in both iterations of the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe animated series, as well as various comic book spin-offs and adaptations thereof. In the original 1983 cartoon series, Mer-Man was voiced by Alan Oppenheimer. In the 2002 cartoon series, he was voiced by Scott McNeill. On the original series, Mer-Man made his first appearance in episode 1x04, "Diamond Ray of Disappearance".
