The Mento Helmet is a fictional item featured in comic books published by DC Comics. It relates to the Doom Patrol and Teen Titans line of titles and first appeared in Doom Patrol, Volume 1 #91 in November, 1964.
Description[]
Steve Dayton, one of the world's richest men, built a helmet to enhance his mental abilities and calls himself Mento. The helmet had the negative side affect of increasing Dayton's paranoia and dementia. Raven was eventually able to cure him of these side effects.
Another individual known as Breuer, also used the helmet for a time when he assumed the identity of Mento.
