Melissa Ponzio is an American television actress born in New York City, New York on August 3rd, 1972. She had a bit part as a "sexy housewife" in the "The Turning Point" episode of The Vampire Diaries in 2009. In 2010, she played vampire Gloria Bennett in the "Jurisdiction" episode of The Gates. In 2011, she became a supporting cast member on MTV's Teen Wolf relaunch series playing Melissa McCall, mother to main character Scott McCall. In 2013, Melissa began dividing her time on Teen Wolf by engaging in a little zombie fun on AMC's The Walking Dead. She played a character named Karen, who was a resident of the town of Woodbury as seen in season three of the show. Melissa made eight appearances on the show in total, five from season three and three from season four.
