Meghan Chambler is a fictional child and a minor recurring character featured on the survival horror series The Walking Dead on AMC. Played by actress Meyrick Murphy, she first appeared in the season four episode, "Live Bait". She made three appearances in the series in total.
Biography[]
Meghan Chambler was a seven-year-old girl who grew up during the zombie apocalypse. She lived in the U.S. state of Georgia and was the granddaughter of David Chambler. Her mother was Lilly Chambler and she had a surviving aunt named Tara Chambler. [1]
When Philip Blake, formerly known as Governor, came to the survivors' camp where Meghan's family was staying, he formed a strong bond with the child, and regarded her as a symbol of his possible redemption. However, Meghan was bitten by a walker while playing in the mud. Lilly found her body and brought her before the Governor, who promptly shot her in the head before she could reanimate. [2]
