MegaForce is an American action movie that includes elements of science fiction. It was directed by Hal Needham and written by Needham, James Whittaker, Albert S. Ruddy and Andre Morgan based on a story treatment by Robert S. Kachler. It was produced by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and released theatrically in the United States on June 25th, 1982. The film stars Barry Bostwick as Commander Ace Hunter, Michael Beck as Dallas, Persis Khambatta as Major Zara, Edward Mulhare as General Edward Byrne-White, George Furth as Professor Eggstrum and Henry Silva as Duke Guerera.
