Medusalith Amaquelin, commonly known by the shortened name of Medusa, is a fictional comic book superhero and a recurring character featured in titles published by Marvel Comics. She is considered part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is a member of the terrestrial sub-race known as the Inhumans. She first appeared in Fantastic Four, Volume 1 #36 in March, 1965.

  • Accelerated healing: Medusalith Amaquelin's genetically enhanced biology and metabolism enables her to heal from injuries more quickly than the average human being.
  • Superhuman durability: Medusalith Amaquelin's body is heartier and more dense than the average human, allowing her to sustain repeated blows with minimal injury.
  • Superhuman stamina: Medusalith Amaquelin's genetically engineered biology allows her to operate on a physical level for extended periods of time without tiring.

  • Trichokinesis: Medusa possesses the ability to manipulate the hair follicles on her entire body. She can manipulate and control every fiber of hair, which is also superhumanly strong, and seemingly unbreakable. Medusa can use tendrils of hairs as rope or snares, which is ideal for entangling and trapping enemy combatants.
