Maurissa Anne Tancharoen is an American television writer, producer and actress. She was born in Los Angeles, California on November 28th, 1975. Maurissa was a regular staff writer on the Joss Whedon-helmed sci-fi/action series Dollhouse. She is credited in seventeen episodes of the series and also played a character named Kilo in the episodes "The Public Eye", "Meet Jane Doe" and "Epitaph Two: Return".

Beginning in 2013, Maurissa was an executive producer and co-writer on the super-spy TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. She was the main staff writer on the first three episodes of the show.

Beginning in 2006, Maurissa Tancharoen worked as a co-producer on the Spartacus television miniseries projects. She was a co-producer on six installments of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena and five installments from Spartacus: War of the Damned in 2012.

Maurissa Tancharoen wrote the "Crazy" episode of Drop Dead Diva in 2009.

In 2011, Maurissa Tancharoen played the character Kana in both parts of the "Scorpion and Sub Zero" webisodes from Mortal Kombat: Legacy.
