Matthew Ross is a recurring character featured in the USA Network television series The 4400. He is played by actor Garret Dillahunt and introduced in the seventh episode of season two, "Carrier". Matthew Ross makes eleven appearances in the series in total.
Overview[]
Matthew Ross is an employee of the 4400 center, which was founded by returnee Jordan Collier and inherited by Collier's named sucessor, Shawn Farrell. Though he worked as an advisor to Shawn, Matthew's motives were always completely self-serving and it was later discovered that Matthew was one of the "Marked" - a secret cell of individuals who were the instruments of the mysterious anti-4400 faction that manipulated events from behind the scenes.
