Biography[]
Mary Young was a scientist who worked at the Clearview Mental Institute in New Jersey. She worked closely with psychiatrist Doctor Leonard Price. Mary designed a Neurotech device, which was based on the Dream Probe technology developed by Doctor Price. Mary believed that her invention could suspend the antisocial psychopathy in patients. Her test subject was a murderous young teenage named Ernest Fairchild. When she activated the device however, it exploded, killing Fairchild in the process. An enigmatic goddess known as Lady Death resurrected Fairchild, and he came to be known as the nihilistic undead mass murderer Evil Ernie. [1]
Mary Young and Leonard Price captured Martin Ramsey and kept him in a prison for fifteen days and nights where he had to fight off various ghouls. He eventually escaped and turned the tables on the scientists, capturing them in turn and kept them bound and suspended near the point of starvation. [2]
Mary Young later used her neuro-probe device in which she intended on killing Lady Death, thus cutting off all of Evil Ernie's power. This too, met with failure. [3]
