Yon-Lok was a bald, pink-skinned humanoid alien with a bad eye. He was an infidel and a rebel who was captured and imprisoned by the Universal Church of Truth. Yon-Lok summoned by Grand Inquisitor Kray-Tor to testify at the trial of Adam Warlock.
