"The Pegasus Project (Part 3): Giants in the Earth" is the title to the fifty-fifth issue of the comic book team-up series Marvel Two-In-One, published by Marvel Comics. The story was written by Mark Gruenwald and Ralph Macchio with artwork by John Byrne, and inks by Joe Sinnott. The cover art illustration was rendered by Keith Pollard and Joe Sinnott. It was colored by Bob Sharen and lettered by John Costanza. The story was edited by Roger Stern with Jim Salicrup as assistant editor. This issue shipped with a September, 1979 cover date and carries a cover price of .40 cents per copy.

- The character of The Thing was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. He first appeared in Fantastic Four #1 in November, 1961.
- The character of Bill Foster was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Don Heck. He first appeared in The Avengers #32 in September, 1966.
- This issue is reprinted in the Thing: Project Pegasus trade paperback collection, released in 2009, as well as the Marvel Universe by John Byrne Omnibus, Volume 2 hardcover collection in 2018, and in black & white in the Essential Marvel Two-In-One, Volume 2 trade paperback, released in June, 2007.
