"Red Sonja" is the spotlight feature from issue #38 of the Marvel Comics Super Special magazine series. It is the official Marvel Comics adaptation of the 1985 Red Sonja feature film. The story was written by Mary Wilshire & Louise Simonson, with artwork by Wilshire and inks by Vince Colletta. Wilshire & Colletta also rendered the cover art illustration to this issue. It was colored by Julianna Ferriter with lettering by Janice Chiang. The story was edited by Larry Hama. This volume was released in November 1985, and carries a cover price of $2.00 per copy (US).
