"Star-Lord" is the title feature to the fourth issue of the comic book sci-fi/fantasy anthology series Marvel Preview published by Marvel Comics and Curtis Magazines. This issue includes two feature stories, the first of which is "Starlord First House: Earth!", which is written by Steve Englehart with interior artwork by Steve Gan. The second vignette begins "The Sword in the Star" series with "Stave 1: Als, the Seeds of Man". This story was written by Bill Mantlo with artwork by Ed Hannigan. Inks were provided by P. Craig Russell and Rick Bryant. This issue features a painted cover illustrated by Gray Morrow. Stories were edited by Archie Goodwin with John Warner as associate editor. Marv Wolfman and Roy Thomas worked on the title as consulting editors. This issue shipped with a January, 1976 cover date and carries a cover price of $1.00 per copy (US).

- The events of "Starlord First House: Earth!" takes place on February 4th, 1962. The location in the beginning of the story is given as the Western United States.
