- The character of Moon Knight was created by writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin. He first appeared in Werewolf by Night #32 in August 1975 in a story titled "The Stalker Called Moon Knight!".
- Moon Knight and Marlene Fontaine both appear next in the second story from The Hulk! #20.
