Notes & Trivia[]
- Doctor Stephen Strange was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. He first appeared in the third story from Strange Tales, Volume 1 #110 in July, 1963 titled "Dr. Strange - Master of Black Magic".
- The tagline to this issue is "Now Strikes... Dagoth!"
- Writer Gardner Fox is credited as Gardner F. Fox in this issue.
- Artist P. Craig Russell is credited as Craig Russell in this issue.
- Inker Dave Hunt is credited as David Hunt in this issue.
- This is the first, and to date, only known appearance of Dagoth, not counting flashbacks.
- The Cloak of Levitation is described as "necromantic" in this issue, which really doesn't make any sense since Necromancy involves communion with the dead, which has nothing to do with the Cloak of Levitation.
